Rural Primary Healthcare Professionals in Montana
This event will explore the challenges and opportunities surrounding rural healthcare, including barriers to accessing care in rural communities, ongoing shortages in the primary care workforce, and the vital role rural physicians and healthcare professionals play in underserved areas. Attendees will examine healthcare disparities affecting rural populations and the importance of community health in addressing these gaps. The event will also highlight opportunities for Montana students interested in pursuing careers in primary and rural healthcare.
Pathways in Health Science: Exploration Night!
Come to Helena High School on Thursday, March 19th at 5:30pm to visit with healthcare professionals, organizations, colleges, and more! Gain insight on careers and pathways from public health to nursing to health policy advocacy. There will be exhibitors from all major colleges and certificate schools in Montana, plus several employers and organizations offering opportunities for job shadowing, internships, summer camps, and volunteering. Who knows, maybe you’ll leave with a new mentor or find an awesome opportunity to get involved in the community!
